Water: Everything begins with water. Two groups want to take water out of the Green River and out of the state. We can’t let that happen. Sweetwater County legislators have to coordinate local efforts to protect our water with the state government.
Education: Many comment that “Wyoming is first in educational spending, testing and technology and last in student results.” There is too much truth in that statement. Wyoming needs:
· More local control or less state rules and regulations.
· Replace PAWS with an evaluation that will allow teachers to use results to advance student learning.
· Develop a Pre-school through college educational system that addresses Wyoming’s academic, vocational and cultural needs.
Development: My paycheck depends on mineral development. I live in Wyoming because of open spaces. Wyoming is big enough to have both. Wyoming law should protect both mineral developments and open spaces.
